Track Your Refund
The time it takes to get your tax refund depends on how you filed your return. If you mailed a paper return, it usually takes about six to eight weeks to receive your refund check. If you opted for direct deposit, you could see your refund in as little as a week. For returns submitted electronically through e-file, refunds are generally issued within two to three weeks. You can track the progress of your refund anytime using the federal or state refund tracking tools.

- Sep 10 – Individuals: Report August tip income using Form 4070.
- Sep 15 – Employers: Deposit nonpayroll withheld income taxes for August.
- Sep 15 – Calendar-year partnerships: File 2024 income tax return (Form 1065).
- Sep 15 – Calendar-year S corporations: File 2024 income tax return (Form 1120-S).
- Sep 30 – Calendar-year trusts and estates: File 2024 income tax return (Form 1041).
📌 October 2025
- Oct 10 – Individuals: Report September tip income (Form 4070).
- Oct 15 – Employers: Deposit Social Security, Medicare, and income taxes.
- Oct 15 – Calendar-year C corporations: File 2024 income tax return (Form 1120).
- Oct 31 – Employers: File Q3 2025 Form 941 and pay taxes if not deposited.
